a painful goodbye

He said ” If death was the only way to unite, then I would die”

She said ” suicide is for cowards”

But there was a silence

which they agreed for a second

and believed the death was the only way they could unite

he wanted her to be with him forever

the impossible wish, he knew

yet he promised to be with her forever

fate betrayed them and parted their life into two

where one-half was with her and the other with him

the halves never survived the immensity

yet their lives were put to a test

one’s death causes a vain to the other

yet death is an uninvited guest

a guest, that none can decide

they decree to live through the pain

the bristling pain was testing their love

yet they had to survive to win…

as victory was their unification.
